Ivan Lee Kleski

Ivan Lee Kleski, 75, of Dennison, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Union Hospital in Dover. Born December 4, 1938 in Dennison, he was a son of the late John Frederick and Marie Elizabeth (Engstrom) Kleski.
A lifelong resident of the area, Ivan attended St. Mary’s Schools in Dennison before serving his country in the U.S. Army in the late 50s. He was an iron worker and member of United Steelworkers Local #1123 in Canton.
Ivan is survived by his two daughters, Lori Marie (Dean) Jones of Jennings, Fla. and Ivory Lynn (Bob) Dodds of Oldsmar, Fla.; grandchildren, Dustin (Erica) Jones, Devin (Lesly) Jones, Alexis Anthony, Jason King, Dustin Dodds, Miranda Reese and Kevin Reese; great-grandchildren, Dilyla Marie Jones, Lucas Hoyt King, Garrett Riley Reese, Danielle Naomi Dodds and Damon Robert Dodds; a sister, Nancy Eberly of Brightwood; a special niece, Julie Ferrell of Texas; and numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, King Lee Kleski; brother, Homer “Sonny” Kleski; and nephew, John Kleski.
Private family services were held. Those wishing to pay their respects to Ivan may do so by visiting his grave in Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia where he was laid to rest. Those wishing to honor his memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to donate to Shriners Hospitals for Children, in lieu of flowers.
