Steven Lee Pipher

Steven Lee Pipherage 39, of Bowerston, Ohio died Saturday, August 10, 2013 at his home. He was born August 15, 1973 in Cambridge, Ohio and was a son of Shirley Jean Pipher Fair of Freeport.  

Steve attended Lakeland High School in Freeport, Ohio and Harrison Career Center in Cadiz, Ohio where he studied farm management. He was employed as a truck driver for Case Farms, and was formerly employed at TAW, Envirite, Berner Trucking, and Vance Trucking. Steve enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a fun loving person that loved to “kid around.” He enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends. 

Surviving in addition to his mother, is his wife: Audra Underwood Pipher; a daughter, Gloria Renee Pipher of Canton; a son, Jesse Lee Pipher of Freeport; half-brother, Benjamin Eugene Fair of Columbus; and a half-sister, Jennifer Marie (Kevin) Hall of Freeport, a grandmother, Mary Hatcher of Freeport, an uncle who was more like a brother, Wayne (Lisa) Pipher of Freeport, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Steve is preceded in death by his step-father, Scotty V. Fair, grandfather Emery Pipher, Step Grandparents Lawrence Hatcher and Robert and Xerxa Fair.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 17, 2013 in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S High Street, Freeport with Penelope Clark officiating.  Burial will follow in Patterson Union Cemetery, Deersville, Ohio. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 16, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
