Tim had worked at Bordner’s Grocery prior to his illness. He was of Methodist faith and had always loved family gatherings, especially holidays, picnics and camping trips.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tom and Donald Spicer and nephews, Todd, Christopher and Jeremy Spicer.
Tim is survived by his wife, Carole A. (Hickey) Spicer and their son, Aaron M. Spicer, of Massillon; grandchildren Storm and Millena Spicer and their mother, Charity; sister, Sue K. Spicer of Massillon; brothers, Terry (Beverly) Spicer of Massillon and Richard (Marilyn) Spicer of Lima; sisters-in-law, Sonia and Rhonda Spicer, Kathleen Green and Jeanne Hickey all of Massillon, and Paula Hickey, of Maryland. Also included are 30 nieces and nephews; 37 great-nieces and nephews, and a great-great niece and nephew.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. Pastor Calvin Hamblin will officiate and burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service Saturday morning, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank Dr. Donald Zimmerman and his staff for the tender, loving care Tim received. They have suggested memorial contributions in Tim’s name made to Faith in Action of Western Stark County, 412 Lincoln Way East, Massillon, Ohio 44646.
