Cleo J. Kohler, 88, of Dennison passed away on April 30, 2013 at Trinity Hospital in Dennison following a brief illness. Born on April 15, 1925 in Uhrichsville she was a daughter of the late George Earl and Nola Amy (Marsh) McPeek.
Cleo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and homemaker that enjoyed caring for her family and spending time with them. She also loved sewing and was an accomplished cake decorator. She was a member of Dennison 1st Church of God.
On November 21, 1942 she married William Clyde Kohler who precedes her in death. They are survived by their children, William C. (Kristy) Kohler Jr. of Dennison and Craig E. (Julie) Kohler of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Beth Ann (Jeremy) Jobling of Seattle, WA., Amy (Chad) Leeper of Dennison, Erin (Robbie) Wheeler of Barnhill., Kara (Tyler) Jarvis of Dennison, Karla (Phil) Wright of New Philadelphia, and Bryan Kohler and companion Heather of New Philadelphia, Liz Patterson of Cambridge, and Ted Dailey of New Philadelphia; great grandchildren, Enoch and Sarah Wright, Hope Renee and Michael McQuaid, Parker Jobling, Trent Leeper, Elliott Wheeler, and Ethan and Taylor Clarkston; great great grandson Aiden Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by brothers Howard Earl and Elmer H. McPeek; and a sister, Faye Marie McPeek.
In keeping wish Cleo’s wishes private family services are planned. She will be interred beside her beloved husband in Dover’s Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Dennison 1st Church of God or Community Hospice.
