Stanley Richard Tarantino

Stanley Richard Tarantino, 76, of West Lafayette, Ohio, passed away at Dayton VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. He was born in Quakertown, Pennsylvania on April 6, 1937, the son of the late Frank and Carrie (Doll) Tarantino.

Stanley served his country in the United States Navy from 1956-1961. He worked as an insurance salesman selling life and health insurance. Stanley was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Lafayette, the Moose Lodge, VFW, and American Legion.

He is survived by four daughters, Carol (Richard) Kelton of Tampa, Florida, Shelly (George) Ulbig of Bel Air, Maryland, Dawn (Kenny) Mitchell, and Vivian (Bill) Armstrong both of Pennsylvania; two sons, Stanley Tarantino Jr., and William Tarantino both of Pennsylvania; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one brother, Elmer Tarantino of Pennsylvania.

In addition to his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Paul, and Earl Tarantino; and two sisters, Mildred and Pearl.

Calling hours will be held at The First Baptist Church in West Lafayette, Ohio on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 5-7pm and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Funeral Services will be held at The First Baptist Church in West Lafayette on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00am with Pastor David Kraft officiating.
