She was born in Holmes County on March 14, 1929 to the late Eli J. and Dalia (Miller) Troyer and married Melvin J.C. Miller on November 8, 1956. He survives.
She was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Country View Chapel in Wilmot.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Debra (Freeman) Miller of Winesburg, James (Sara) Miller of Fredericksburg, Wilma (Glenford) Steiner of Apple Creek and Judy Miller of the home; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Mattie Wengerd of Winesburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Fanny Yoder, Mary Ann Troyer and Susann Miller; and brothers, Andrew, Joni, Jacob C., Daniel and Valentine Troyer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Country View Chapel, 14890 Navarre Road, SW, Wilmot, with Dr. Nolan Byler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the church or on Saturday, one hour prior to services at the church. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling arrangements.
