Coshocton Man Killed in Single Vehicle Wreck

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash.

Deputies say 55-year old Robert Wolfe of Coshocton was traveling at a high rate of speed late Thursday night when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of County Roads 497 and 274 and struck an embankment.

Wolfe was pronounced dead at the scene by Coshocton County Coroner Robert Gwinn.

Deputies say excessive speed is considered to be a contributing factor in this wreck, which remains under investigation.
