Grace Putt



Grace Putt, 87, well known Viviane Woodward Director of Sugarcreek died peacefully in her sleep Thursday, August 15, 2013 at her residence.  She was born April 28, 1926 in Tuscarawas County to the late Arthur and Elsie (Roth) Putt. 

She operated Two Graces Viviane Woodward Cosmetics for many years in Sugarcreek and was a member of the First Mennonite Church in Sugarcreek.   Grace and her business partner Grace Jaberg were in charge of the flower ministry and a part of the “Fiat Movers”.  She held many children close to her heart. She was also an active member of the Walnut Creek Fine Arts Club.
 
She is survived by her sister Ruth Reed of Ragersville, her brother Robert Putt of Phoenix, Arizona and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Putt and her two sisters Helen Steiner and Thelma Banks and niece Becky Banks. 

Services will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the First Mennonite Church in Sugarcreek.  Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery at Sugarcreek.  Friends may call Sunday 1-2 PM at the First Mennonite Church in Sugarcreek prior to services.  Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.  A special thank you goes out to the Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County for their care and advice.  Memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County 716 Commercial Ave. SW New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663 or First Mennonite Church of Sugarcreek PO Box 250 113 W.
