State Representative Al Landis touches base with private sector business leaders with his first round table discussion.
Landis recently met with leaders from the Zoar area and from the Uhrichsville-Dennison area to get an inside view of what’s working and what’s not working with government in the 98th District.
Landis says the feedback was good, but there continues to be a concern about our area’s workforce.
Discussion about the Affordable Care Act has been a priority with businesses, and Landis says there is a large amount of uncertainty with who it will affect, and how it will affect employees and employers.
Landis says collecting local information will help representatives from JobsOhio report to the Governor and administration on how to help local businesses.
Landis believes that the topics of concern, such as health care, taxes and workforce, are the same throughout the state.
