He retired in 1974 from Claycraft Brick Co. at Sugarcreek and was employed as a school bus driver for Garaway Schools for many years. He was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ at Fiat, an Army Veteran of the Korean War, member of the Baltic American Legion, and a lifetime member of the Baltic Conservation Club.
He was married to the former Margaret Ott who died April 13, 1988. He is survived by his son Myron (Bonnie) Pepper Jr. of Baltic, his daughter Debra Pepper of Dallas, Texas, two grandchildren Mindy Pepper of Dallas, Texas and Marissa (Deep) Pepper-Banerjee of New York and a sister Twila Schultz of Richville.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by two brothers Raymond and Doren Pepper.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Peters United Church of Christ at Fiat with Rev. Dennis Landaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Fiat Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday 5-7 PM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek and on Wednesday from 10-11 AM at the church prior to services.
