Kirk Allan Triplett

Kirk Allan Triplett, 49, of Uhrichsville, went to be with our Lord from Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison on Sunday, October 20, 2013 of injuries sustained in an accident. Born March 28, 1964 in Dennison, he was a son of Ronald E. “Bud” Triplett of New Philadelphia and Barbara E. (Thayer) Cargnel of Uhrichsville.
Kirk married the love of his life, Michelle (Warner) Triplett, on February 15, 1986. Kirk and Michelle have two wonderful sons, Zackery Allan and Travis Nathaniel Triplett, and a grandson, Dyson Allan Triplett. Kirk was a wonderful father and husband, and a great man to many. Zackery and Travis will always keep in their hearts memories of their best friend, Dad, biggest supporter and guide in life – a person to look up to.
Kirk was a brother, son, father, grandfather, husband and friend to many. He loved spending time with the apple of his eye, his grandson, Dyson. In addition to his wife of over twenty-nine years, his sons, and his grandson, he is survived by his mother, Barbara Cargnel of Uhrichsville; his father, Ronald “Bud” (Karen) Triplett of New Philadelphia; sisters, Rhonda (Bill) Arter and Jessica (Jason) Bergquist; brother, Chris (Alisha) Triplett; parents-in-law, Bobbie (Jake) Weaver of Midvale and Lanny (Ruth) Warner of Newcomerstown; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Geana Farrow, Veronica and Adrian Day, Jeff and Jodie Swihart, Lanny Paul Warner, Scott and Kristina Warner and Michael Warner; and numerous aunts and uncles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom he loved to watch play in the pool at the family’s annual 4th of July celebrations. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Doris June Berkshire, Guy and Gertrude Triplett and Archibald Thayer.
Kirk was a carpenter by trade. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. He loved hunting and, most of all, loved riding his motorcycle. He will also be sadly missed by his best bud, Tess, his faithful canine companion.
Services for Kirk, officiated by Pastor Florence McNutt, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 25, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
