Rosalee graduated from Fresno High School in 1954, and then graduated from Muskingum College. She was an elementary school teacher, primarily Kindergarten, for over 30 years, first in Fresno, and then in the Coshocton City School System. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church in Coshocton, where she also taught Sunday School for many years, and a member of the Green Valley Garden Club in Coshocton.
On June 20, 1959, she married Raymond Stout, who survives. Rosalee is also survived by her three daughters, Paula (Scott) Shaw of Bluffton, Ohio, Susie Stout of Coshocton, Ohio and Carolyn (Derek) Straiton of Pataskala, Ohio; her six grandchildren, Zach and Aaron Shaw, Daniel, Benjamin, Thomas and Jacob Straiton; her brother, Don (Nancy) Hamilton of Coshocton, Ohio; her sister, Johnalee (Lewis) Hebron of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave., Coshocton, Ohio, on Monday, October 28, 2013, at 11:00am, with Rev. Jonathan Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends and neighbors at the funeral home on Sunday, October 27, 2013, from 2-4pm, and until service time on Monday. For those who wish contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church in Coshocton, or to the Alzheimers Association.
