Area residents have a new way to make a donation to the United Way of Tuscarawas County.
Community Resources Coordinator Robin Waltz says the United Way is partnering with local businesses on the “Live United….Give United” community drive that runs through Saturday, November 2.
Waltz says they’re really looking forward to seeing how well the community receives this new fund-raising opportunity.
Waltz says it’s important that everyone be given the opportunity to donate to the United Way as the organization works to reach this year’s overall campaign goal of $600,000.
To donate to the “Live United....Give United” community drive, Waltz says to look for the United Way’s blue posters and canisters at the following participating businesses: Bags Sports Pub, Baltic State Bank, Bread Head Bakery & Coffee Shop, Bonifay Home Supply, Buehler’s in Dover, Chuck Nicholson GMC Mazda, Don R. Wallick Auctions, Dover-Phila Federal Credit Union, El Papa’s Mexican Kitchen, First Federal Community Bank, First National Bank of Dennison, Jesana’s Pizzeria, J-N-G Grill, Park Street Pizza, Parkway Auto Group, Renaissance Salon, Sugarfuse, and Twin City Pharmacy. At New Towne Mall, Dunkin’s Diamonds, GNC Live Well, Lela’s Etc, and The Seattle Café.
