He was a loving, devoted husband and father. He was married to his late wife, Zola Rodgers on December 8, 1952.
They survive by two children, Antoinette and Robert Rodgers.
Leon graduated from Coshocton High School where he served as class president. He worked for former Shaw-Barton and J.I.I in the printing business for many years as a calendar operator pressman. He was a former member of Jaycees, and a member of St. Andrew's A.M.E. church for many years. He loved to talk to people, and loved his family, relatives, and friends. During his retirement, he enjoyed being outside, mowing grass, and attending his class reunion before his illness.
