New Philadelphia Welty Middle School is hoping to top last year’s money raised at the Second Annual Red and Black Auction.
The auction began last year as a fundraiser to help the PTO and families connected to the school. Vice Principal Brian Gibson says they will do the same this year.
The Red and Black Auction will take place at the Middle School this Saturday morning. Guests can preview the items beginning at 9:30, with the auction starting at 11 a.m. Gibson says there will be something for everyone with the wide variety of items for sale, donated by people and businesses from the community.
The school is looking to top last years total of $9,000 raised, and Gibson says he hopes to see another great turnout of bidders.
Wallick Auctions has donated their auction services for the event. For more information about the auction, call 330-364-0645.
