Lawrence Joseph Kalman, age 45 of 5042 House Avenue, Cleveland died unexpectedly in Cleveland Metro Hospital on Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
Born in Berea, Ohio on May 3, 1968, he was a son of Geraldine Ann Martin Kalman of Freeport and the late Anthony John Kalman.
He attended Lakeland High School, worked as a farmer, was a Catholic by faith. He liked to hunt and fish. He became disabled in 1999.
His wife, Darlene Kay Munson Kalman, survives. They were married October 14, 2008. Also surviving are a step-son, Robert Wolfe of West Virginia; three step-daughters: Holly Newby of New Mexico, Bobbie Jo Smith of Lascruses, New Mexico, and Jennifer Renea Wolfe of Phoenix, Arizona; four brothers: Anthony Kalman, Jr. of Freeport, e4 0.nneth Kalman of Cadiz, Donald Kalman of Freeport, and Steven Kalman of Quaker City; four sisters: Evon Kalman of West Virginia, Elizabeth Fassnacht of Grafton, Margaret White of Cadiz, and Stephanie Fay of North Benton; and nine step-grandchildren.
Private visitation will be held for the family. Services and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2013 in Greenmont Union Cemetery with Pastor Dave Koch officiating.
