Jim graduated from Garfield High School with the Class of 1973, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Akron. Blessed with a quick imagination, a knack for problem solving and a wide range of interests, Jim also had a gift for making friends easily. He used these talents to launch several small business ventures in the greater-Akron area and together with his wife Bobbi, found success with each of them.
He was currently serving as a board member on the Barberton-South Summit Chamber of Commerce and when his time allowed, would look forward to a round of golf and the chance to spend time with family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents and a daughter, Allyson; Jim is survived by his wife of nearly 10 years, Roberta L. “Bobbi” (McClintock) Licitri; a son, Alex Licitri, of Tallmadge; a step-son, Brennan Angle, of the home; sister, Eileen T. Licitri, of San Francisco, CA, brother, Joseph J. Licitri of Stow, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
