Arthur Junior Hill



Arthur Junior Hill, age 80, of Newcomerstown, died Thursday, November 28, 2013 at his residence. He was born Saturday, January 14, 1933 in Morrow County to the late Arthur Clyde Hill and Delores (Landon) Hill, who survives.

He enlisted into the United States Army where he served his country from 1952 to 1954. He was a former member of the Uhrichsville Moose and a former member of the Newcomerstown Masonic Lodge. Arthur retired from General Tire after 32 years of service. He had a love for riding motorcycles, fishing, listening to music, dancing, going to Kistler's lake, making trips to Wheeling Island, and a great love for singing songs.

Arthur had a great affection for his family and friends. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children; David R. Hill and his wife Paula of Newcomerstown, Jeri K. Hiles and her husband Barry of Stone Creek, Dan W. Hill and Robert H. Hill and his wife Beth of Newcomerstown; grandchildren; Justin, David and his wife Tina of Newcomerstown, Randi Corbin and her husband Scott of New Philadelphia, Steven Hiles of Stone Creek, Andrew and Kiley of Newcomerstown; great grandchildren Brooke Corbin, Braylon Corbin, Kade, Makinsley and Anna Hill. He is also survived by his companion for the last 24 years, M. Kay Henry and her family; Tracy (Henry) Gleaton and her companion Mark Lamonica of Dover, Kelly Offman of Newcomerstown and her companion Travis Goff and grandchildren; Zarik Gleaton, Candace, Dakota Offman and Brice Goff as well as numerous cousins and a nephew. Arthur was formerly married to the late Jean (Wise) Hill for 28 years.

In addition to his father and late wife, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Bobby A. Hill and a sister Irene Martin Albaugh.
