He was a member of the Richville United Church of Christ, Richville Golden Charms, a 60-year member of Perry Grange, Ohio State Grange, National Grange and the Richville Park Board. He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians. For many years, Cornie could be seen on his Ford tractor in the spring all over Richville plowing up to 100 gardens for neighbors. He is retired from Lee Albreight Construction Co. and he was US Army Veteran of WW II with the 31st Coast Artillery.
He was married November 25, 1943 to the former Berdine Isler who died March 18, 2013.
He is survived by his children Terry (Bonnie) Klick and Beckie (Paul) Custer, grandchildren Eric (Kimberly) Klick, Alisha (Chris) Dennis and Julie (Allen) Brahler, great grandchildren Anna, Kerrington, Colten and Adam, his brothers Bennie (Laura Mae) Klick and Earl Klick and his sisters Helen Pepper, Martha Woolley and Nellie Mills.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his sister Mildred Eyster and his brother Clark Klick.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Richville United Church of Christ with Pastor Will Stuart officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Massillon where military services will be conducted. Friends may call on Friday 11 AM to 1 PM at the Richville United Church of Christ.
