He was retired from Ohio Valley Coal Company. Charles enjoyed
fishing, hunting, playing guitar and spending time with family.
On December 8, 1972, he married Sherry (Durben) Blankenship, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Charles F. Blankenship Jr. of Chicago, Ill, Scott L.
Blankenship of Kimbolton; one daughter, Tracy A. Blankenship of New
Philadelphia; several grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers,
Elmer E. Blankenship Jr. of Kimbolton, Ronnie L. (Crystal) Blankenship of
Kimbolton, Chris P. (Becky) Blankenship of Tuscalusa, AL; three sisters,
Ruth C. Graves of Columbus, Linda D. Williamson of Quaker City, Delores J.
(Ed) Furbee of Kimbolton; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Addy Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Crank officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the
funeral home. He will be greatly missed and loved by all.
