​Judith Kay Henry



Judith Kay Henry, age 72, of Uhrichsville, O., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 20, 2013, at Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison.

Born on June 7, 1941, in Dennison, Judy was the daughter of the late Luke and Louise (Cruze) Meechan.

Judy attended St. Mary’s High School and was a lifelong resident of the area.  She was employed at the former L & K Restaurant in Uhrichsville for 30 years.  Judy was famous for her mashed potatoes, noodles and chicken.  She was a loving mother and wonderful wife, so full of love for everyone.  She was the cord of the family.

In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her siblings Barb Kinsey, Margaret Altier, Evelyn Story, Helen Creager, Luke, Tom and Don Meeckan; a son Rick Henry; grandson Bill Affolter Jr., son-in-law Bill Affolter; brothers-in-law Jim, George and Randy Henry; sisters-in-law Delores Fray Henry, Donna Kanuff Henry and Penny Weekly Henry.

Judy is survived by her husband of 54 wonderful years, Earl Henry Sr., of the home; her children Earl (Janet) Henry Jr., Robert (Kim) Henry, Rhonda Affolter (companion Tim Fortney), Darran Henry, Angel Ellwood, Brandy (Vince) Meyer, Louise Henry and Riki Jo Henry (companion Nathan Dergins); grandchildren and great grandchildren John, Kanzas, Kruze, Kamden, Brandy, Vinny, Micheal, Remi, Billy, Cody, Shane, Brooklyn, Isabella, Jerzi, Matthew, Kameron, Patrick, Mekenzi, Jennifer, Roxanne, Willow, Brooke, Ricky, Bobbi, Cheyenne, Levi, Chelsea, Michelle, Chase, Kaylyn, Nicole, Kirsten, Carter, Danielle, Robert, Kyle, Max, Jessica, Alex; and Alexis, Brayden and their father Randall Powell.

Funeral services for Judy will be held at 11a.m., on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Lisa Meese officiating.  Burial will follow at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dennison.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m., on Monday, December 23, 2013, at the funeral home.
