Judith A. Mazzoleni

Judith A. Mazzoleni, 67, of Wainwright, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 22, 2013 after a sudden illness. Born October 11, 1946 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Vera (Crouse) Hunt.
A 1965 graduate of Uhrichsville High School, Judy was a local resident throughout her life. She was most recently employed in the dietary department at New Dawn Retirement Community for the past 13 years. Above all else, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who was the backbone of her family. She loved caring for her family and her home, and was a great asset to the business that she and her husband ran for many years. She will be deeply missed by her family, and most especially by her grandchildren who were the light of her life.
On January 2, 1966, Judy married Clyde A. Mazzoleni with whom she enjoyed nearly 48 years of marriage. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Joseph (Deb) Mazzoleni of Tuscarawas, Richard (Cindy Anderegg) Mazzoleni of Wainwright, Greg Mazzoleni of Wainwright and Josh (Elaine) Irwin of Uhrichsville; grandchildren, Travis (Jen), Taylor, Tylor, Brian (Destiny) and Austin Mazzoleni, Marissa Anderegg, Lakin and Brentin Irwin, and Reggie (Cathy) and Nick (Krissy) Shafer; great-grandchildren, Christian, Noah, Nolan and Rylee Shafer; a sister, Carol (James, Sr.) Ferguson of Newcomerstown; brother- and sister-in-law, Charles and Lois Mazzoleni of New Philadelphia; extended family members, Jerry and Tersea Barrick, Sr. of Wainwright; a dear friend, George Reichman and his family; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vera Hunt; a brother, James Lesley; her maternal grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
Services for Judy, officiated by Pastor George Reichman, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Gnadenhutten’s Clay-Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Those wishing to honor Judy’s memory may do so by a donation to the charity of their choice.
