Ella A. Troyer



Ella A. Troyer, 77, of 2031 TR 165 Sugarcreek died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at her residence.  She was born February 11, 1936 in Holmes County to the late Andrew J.B. and Lizzie (Hershberger) Miller. 

he was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. 

She is survived by her husband John A.N. Troyer whom she married April 25, 1968, son Edward (Leanna) Troyer, 5 stepchildren David (Alma) Troyer, Wayne (Elsie) Troyer, Vernon (Amanda) Troyer, Martha (David) Wengerd, and Mark (Mary) Troyer, 5 grandchildren, 30 step grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren, brothers Jonas (Betty) Miller, Henry (Sarah) Miller, Sam (Esther) Miller, Mose (Edna) Miller, sisters Edna (Abe) Yoder, Mae (John) Yoder, Mary (Mel) Raber, Alma (Roy) Troyer, sister-in-law Mary Miller and brother-in-law Andy Yoder. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Jacob Miller, sisters Dena Yoder and Lydiann Miller, 1 step grandchild and 1 step great grandchild. 

Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 9:00 AM at the Edward Troyer Residence 2115 TR 165 Sugarcreek with Bishop Abe Raber Jr. officiating.  Burial will be in the Erb Cemetery, Clark Twp., Holmes County.  Friends may call any time at the Edward Troyer Residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
