Born February 26, 1958 in Wheeling, WV he was a son of Jane Gatten Bouska Ridenbaugh of Warsaw and the late Andy Bouska; a step son of Leo Ridenbaugh; a grandson of the late Dennis and Martha Gatten and Anna and Andy Bouska and a son-in-law of Bob and Miriam Addy of Tappan.
Gary is survived by his loving wife Kathy Addy Bouska who he married October 21, 2006; a daughter Lisa Hawkins of New Philadelphia; a son Craig Bouska of Columbus; step-sons Ryan Bumgardner of Dover and Josh (Jessi) Bumgardner of Tappan; his identical twin brother Larry (fiancée Chris Foit) Bouska of Freeport; two sisters Sandi (late husband Dick) Scott of Sugarcreek; and Linda (Tom) Fisher of Tippecanoe; a step sister Christie (John) Hondel and a step brother Duane Ridenbaugh both of Warsaw; brother-in-law Mark (Kelly) Addy of Cincinnati; three grandchildren Elias, Colton and Jace Bumgardner; many special nieces and nephews; Gary and Larry's special childhood friend Greg Troyan; and his dog/friend "Hope" who loving waited every night for him to come home from work.
Gary was currently working for the Ohio Department of Transportation and was a former employee at Shenango Manufacturing, Zeigler Tire, Walton Glass and Kimble Mixer all of the Dover area. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Methodist Church near Tappan Lake and previously served as President on their Board of Trustees. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and wrestling.
A celebration of Gary's life will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Pleasant Valley Methodist Church, 35500 Cadiz-Dennison Rd. (St Rt 250), Scio with Pastor Bob King officiating. Friends may call prior to the service Tuesday from 12-3 and 4-7 p.m. at the church.
